Disasters in History: The South Platte River Flood of 1965
Flood season is on the horizon, but the South Platte River is less likely to experience “an outstanding hydrologic event” because of the lessons learned from the June 1965 flood.
Einar Jensen will dissect the factors leading to the flood and the flood’s short-term and long-term impacts to our community.
This presentation will include tips on how to make our families and property safer from flooding.
