The program follows a pioneer family from Kentucky who joined the wagon train from Pike County Missouri to travel 900 plus miles during the 1859 Colorado Gold Rush. Props, songs and stories impart insight into the Civil War, Mining, Railroads, Native American lore, the Settlers, and three famous Colorado women!
ABOUT OUR SPEAKER AND MUSICIAN–CALVIN WEATHERALL
Calvin Weatherall (The Hat Man) is a Canadian currently living near Olde Town Arvada. He brings a high-energy, good-time variety show with a great array of instruments, props, humor, accents, heart-felt singing, stories, and…..hats! Elements in each show are built around a theme and audience participation is encouraged
