DESCRIPTION:Wednesday\, May 22   10 am – 1 pm\n$32 HRHS Member     $37 non-Member\n\nOR \nDownload 2024  Registration Form HERE and Mail into the Historical Society  (must do if paying by CHECK)\n\nDiscover this hidden gem\, right in the middle of Greenwood Village!  Learn about Marjorie and John Madden\, and the development of this quiet oasis.    Enjoy a guided walking tour of Marjorie Park\, including all of the interesting and new art installations. \n \nConcerts abound in the evenings in the lush amphitheatre\, but during the daytime we will have great access during the quiet time\, to explore the Fiddlers Green Amphitheatre\, where our tour includes the new Living Wall. \n \nInformation from the MOA website:  “The Museum of Outdoor Arts (MOA) was founded in 1981 by commercial real estate developer\, John W. Madden Jr.\, his wife\, Marjorie P. Madden\, and their daughter\, Cynthia Madden Leitner. MOA is a forerunner in the placement of site-specific sculpture in Colorado. Our art collection is located within various public locations throughout the Denver metro area. From commercial office parks to botanic gardens\, city parks and traditional sculpture gardens; art is placed to interpret space as “a museum without walls.” Foremost\, MOA believes in its mission of ‘making art a part of everyday life.’.” \n \nIncludes Boxed Lunch\, enjoy in the beautiful park after the tour.  Marjorie Park is only open for special events\, tours\, or by appointment\, so this is a great private opportunity to enjoy the park on a (hopefully!) lovely spring day! \n \n\nOR \nDownload 2024  Registration Form HERE and Mail into the Historical Society  (must do if paying by CHECK)
