Highlands Ranch Historical Society (HRHS) hosts Jay Lindell, presenting Colorado, A High-Flying State.  Jay's program addresses what has made Colorado the nation’s second-largest aerospace economy and a premier location for companies conducting aerospace-related activities. These companies are supported by the combination of military presence, renowned research laboratories and universities, natural attributes, and a dynamic business environment. Colorado has a broad range of companies, products, and systems for commercial, military, and civil space applications (Lockheed Martin).

About Jay Lindell

 Major General Jay Lindell, USAF, is the Aerospace and Defense Industry Champion with the Colorado Office of Economic and International Trade. He serves as Colorado's head cheerleader  developing defense and aerospace jobs statewide. While the majority of those positions are located along the front range, there are companies located from Durango to Grand Junction.
