Highlands Ranch Mansion Volunteer Spotlight: Paul Chamberlin
Janaury 2019
Note: Paul is a HR Mansion Docent/Volunteer, and he is also the Co-Coordinator for the HR Historical Society Wranglers. Thanks Paul for teaching history in Highlands Ranch!
Here is the honor that the HR Mansion and Metro District announced re: Paul Chamberlin:
"Our team of dedicated volunteers are essential to everything the Mansion does. Meet Paul Chamberlin, who has been helping at the Mansion since 2013 and officially volunteering since 2016.
Paul, who is nicknamed "The Sheriff" for his ability to keep everyone in line, volunteers as a greeter. He said he loves welcoming visitors and enjoys finding out where they are from. His favorite room in the Mansion is the Solarium. "I like it because it's bright, sunny and cheerful – kind of like me!"
He began volunteering with his wife, Sandy, and said the staff and volunteers at the Mansion are fun to work with.
“Paul is kind of like the warm-up act at the Mansion. He greets everyone that comes in and by the time their tour starts, they are so excited and enthusiastic about the Mansion. They just can’t wait to hear more!” said fellow volunteer Sharon Swiderski.
Paul has a rich variety of experience, including two decades working with the Denver Broncos stadium announcer, his previous role as a Disney World cast member and his current work in financial services. He also has a passion for RV-ing and traveling with his wife. "We actually lived full time in an RV for six years. We traveled all over the country during that time." "
